iExpress - Bind EXE File To Keep Your Virus FUD

What is iExpress?
Windows has an inbuilt utility called iexpress that can be used to create self extracting archives or executables. iExpress is used for the creation and distribution of self extracting executables or setups or Packages. iExpress can be used easily to create your own setup or self extracting file that extracts and runs the desired program.

Following is a step to step instructions for creating self extracting executables using the iExpress wizard.

  • Go to run type in iexpress and hit Enter

After hitting Enter, the iExpress wizard will open up, where you need to configure your setup or self extracting executables,

  • Select Create a new Self Extracting Directive file as you are creating a new self extracting;
  • Now select the type of Self Extracting Executable from the next iexpress windows, Select the option Extract Files Only.
  • Give the title for your package

After entering the package title, on the next window it will ask you for prompt confirmation, If you want to give any message to your victim while he will be installing the package like "For security reason, please disable your antivirus" then select Prompt User With and type the message. This will be shown to the user when he/she installs your package
  • I selected no prompt, you can change it on you;
  • Select Do not display a license.

  • Now add the required files that should be installed or extracted by the self extracting executable, I selected a genuine software file and a virus file created by me for binding so that if anyone installs this software my virus files also get installed.

  • Select Default(Recommended);
  • Select No Message;

  • Select the path where you want your package files to be extracted, and also click Hide File Extracting Process Animation from User;
  • Select Only Restart if needed;

  • Click Don't Save;

  • Now wait for the creation of package to be completed and click Finish to end;

Now you have successfully binded 2 files. But the package file will have default Windows icon so you can use Unflamed Icon Changer for changing your package file icon.
